Every day, we have a new suggestion for a positive action to make ourselves and/or the world a better place. We draw our Daily Yogi practices from Ashtanga, or the 8 Limbs of Yoga.

PS our groups section is still currently growing – We have the most interaction currently with our instagram where we have 2x daily posts and reminders for our Yogis around the world. Or, maybe you would rather start at the beginning with an introduction to the 8 Limbs of Yoga, and our new beginnings practices like journaling to study your progress, or making a daily commitment you have always wanted to incorporate into your life.

May 2022 Yoga Challenge: Hydration and Ayurveda

Today we are revisiting National Hydration Day. This is one of my New Years Resolutions I want to revisit. Today track how much water you drink, and evaluate whether you need to drink more or less each day.

We also are covering Ayurveda on Hydration Check-In Days, and today we are talking about Ayurvedic recommendations for morning routines.

May 2022 Yoga Challenge: Asanas (Poses): Sun Salutations – Adho Mukha Svanasana & Shisulasana

For Monday’s practice, we are completing our breakdown of each pose in Sun Salutations!

Our Challengers are working on our last modified Sun Salutations focused on Adho Mukha Svanasana or Downward Facing Dog!

Our Daily Yogis revisiting Downward Dog, or perhaps keeping forearms grounded to work on Shisulasana / Dolphin pose.. and perhaps taking the first steps towards inversions.

May 2022 Yoga Challenge: Asanas (Poses): Sun Salutations – Bhujangasana & Salamba Bhujangasana

For today’s practice, we are continuing our breakdown of each pose in Sun Salutations!

We are working on gentle back bends, and modified Sun Salutations focused on progression and differences between Cobra and Upward Facing Dog. Daily Yogis also may try a supported version of Cobra – Salamba Bhujangasana or Sphinx Pose.
